Chinese New Year Open House 2025 at The Istana

The Lunar New Year Istana Open House (IOH) will be held on Sunday, 2 February 2025, from 8.30am to 6.00pm.

The Lunar New Year Istana Open House (IOH) will be held on 2 February 2025, 8.30am to 6.00pm. The IOH will be open to all visitors. 

What To Expect

Embark on a Istana Heritage Tour of the Istana grounds to explore its rich history, architectural heritage, and unique landscape of flora and fauna. The 1-hour walking tour begins at the Main Gate and features highlights such as the Villa, Japanese Garden, and Ceremonial Plaza. Sign up early for the Istana Heritage Tour here.

Tours are conducted in English and Mandarin every hour from 9am to 4pm. Fees apply, and all proceeds go to the benefitting organisations supported by the President’s Challenge. 

There will be merchandise booths with limited-edition Istana and President’s Challenge souvenirs. Souvenirs are while stocks last. Only cashless payments via Credit/Debit Card and/or QR Codes will be accepted. All proceeds will go towards the benefitting agencies supported by President’s Challenge.

Fees for the Guided Istana Heritage Tour:

• Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents:
  • Adults: $8.00
  • Children (4 to 12 years): $4.00
  • Children (Below 4 years): Free
  • Family (2 adults and 2 children aged 4 to 12 years): $22.00
• Standard:
  • Adults: $30.00
  • Children (4 to 12 years): $12.00
  • Children (Below 4 years): Free

Only cashless payment via PayNow will be accepted.
