Event Highlights
Art Skins on Monuments
- Spirit of Resilience by Chng Seok Tin
- Imprinted Memory by Goh Beng Kwan
- The Perception of Beauty by Jaafar Latiff
Works of three seminal local artists will take over National Gallery Singapore’s façade, namely the late printmaker and Cultural Medallion recipient Chng Seok Tin, painter and Cultural Medallion recipient Goh Beng Kwan and the late batik artist Jaafar Latiff. As the centrepiece of the Padang, the installation by renowned local sculptor and Cultural Medallion recipient Han Sai Por features six large-scale inflatable sculptural forms resembling tropical ferns, confronting audiences with a superscale view of what usually goes unnoticed in nature amidst Singapore’s urban landscape.
Art X Social: Festival Street
The Art X Social: Festival Street will be extended to open on all three festival weekends, with delectable food and drink offerings.

The expansive multi-floor installation is presented at the street level of National Gallery Singapore’s Padang Atrium with suspended pillars reference farming structures used in peppercorn plantations and hammocks to recline in the basement.
Through The Looking Glass
Artist Claire Teo from ARTDIS (Singapore) Ltd (ART:DIS) will present her installation Through The Looking Glass at National Gallery Singapore’s Auditorium Foyer, inspired by the artist’s experiences as a visually impaired individual. Festival-goers are invited to explore human perception through the immersive installation.
