Here's an exciting list of meet & greets happening around Singapore for the June Holidays 2022!
There was a time when June holidays were packed with parents standing at mall atriums, jostling for a space, holding their cameras in the air - all for this to let their kids meet with their favourite characters at the the Meet & Greets at the various malls.
The scene has been quiet for 2 years and that's why we are extremely please to be preparing this list - because it means things are coming back and children can once again meet with their favourite characters. So let's see who and where can you meet this June holiday!
1. Pikachu and Eevee @ Kallang Wave Mall
Venue: Kallang Wave Mall, exact location not stated
Dates:
- Meet & Greet: 4 & 11 June 2022 @ 11 am, 2 pm and 5 pm
- Dance Off: 5 & 12 June 2022 @ 11 am, 2 pm and 5 pm
Meet and Greet with Pikachu & Eevee, or join them in a dance off at Kallang Wave Mall. Unfortunately, this is all the information we have at the moment, but for all the Pokemon fans, this must be REALLY exciting!
2. BT21 @ Jewel Changi Airport
Venue: Jewel Changi Airport, Shiseido Forest Valley and Canopy Park
Dates: 27 May to 17 July 2022
If you do not know who or what the LINE FRIENDS' BT21 are, its a collaborative project between LINE FRIENDS and BTS launched in 2017 which has seen its popularity grow over the years.
Join the BT21 characters KOYA, RJ, SHOOKY, MANG, CHIMMY, TATA, COOKY and VAN at Jewel Changi Airport! Come clap, sing or dance together with these iconic characters at several spots within Jewel’s Shiseido Forest Valley and Canopy Park.
*Note that these are not mascots but fixed inflatables/structures.
3. Hello Kitty And My Melody at City Square Mall
Date: 3 – 26 June 2022 (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only)
Time: Fri: 4pm and 7pm, Sat and Sun: 1pm, 4pm and7pm
Venue: Basement 2 (beside travelators)
Meet the adorable characters, Hello Kitty and My Melody, in person and snap some kawaii photos together at City Square Mall! Fans of all ages can spend a minimum of $50*at City Square Mall and redeem a Meet & Greet pass two hours prior. Only 50 passes available for each session.
4. Meet Snoopy @ Changi Airport Terminal 3
Venue: Terminal 3 Basement 2, ST3PS
Dates: 28 and 29 May, 2 pm and 7 pm
See up close and say hi to Snoopy at the meet-and-greet sessions happening over the weekends. Simply spend a minimum of S$60 in a maximum of two combined same-day receipts at the public areas of Changi Airport’s terminals to redeem a free photo-pass with Snoopy.
EXTRA TIP: Book Peanuts Snow Hangout slots on 4 and 5 June (1.40pm, 2.10pm, 6.40pm, 7.10pm) for a chance to meet Snoopy at the snowhouse instead!
5. Meet The Minions at USS
Venue: Universal Studios Singapore, Sentosa (New York Library/Lagoon Stage)
Date: 26 May - 14 Aug 2022
Groovy Summer at Universal Studios Singapore will take guests straight into the colourful world of Minions 2: The Rise of Gru! Join the Minions for some villainous fun and enjoy a day flowing with positive vibes, classic hits and psychedelic colours!
Meet the mischievous trio Kevin, Stuart and Bob, along with Otto as they come dressed in the colourful 70s and in a new yellow jumpsuit!
6. We Bare Bears and Looney Tunes @ Compass One
Venue: Compass One
Date: 10 - 26 June 2022 (campaign date, specific date of meet & greet not stated)
At Compass One, children will love finding hidden treasure in the We Bare Bears Ball Pit challenge and teaming up with their favourite DC Super Hero Girl to defeat villains. They can also make their own super hero masks at the Teen Titans Go Workshop or get creative in the Looney Tunes Mural Town.
A mix of mascots from We Bare Bears and Looney Tunes – including Bugs Bunny and Tweety – will also make guest appearances.
7. We Baby Bears, Tom & Jerry at Downtown East
Venue: Downtown East, Neptune Cove, Outside Wild Wild Wet
Date: 17 - 19 June 2022
Over at Downtown East, a series of activities will be happening, including meet & greet with beloved Cartoon Network characters We Baby Bears, Tom & Jerry, and Krypto and Ace from the movie DC League of Super-Pets, during daily meet & greet sessions. Kids can also look forward to craft activities and workshops!
8. Paw Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer @ Marina Square
Venue: Let's Play @ #03-208/209 Marina Square
Dates: 26 Feb - 19 June 2022, 10 am - 10 pm
Admission: $35 (Mon - Thu), $39 (Fri - Sun, Eve of PH and PH) - Ticket available on Trip.com
The World of Nickelodeon is the first-ever Nickelodeon-themed play space in Singapore with lots of opportunity to play and to also meet with some of your kid's favourite characters in the Meet & Greet sessions daily!
Different characters will be available on different days. Unfortunately, there isn't any schedule available but families expect characters from Paw Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer!
9. Meet Bob & Kevin From The Minions
Venue: Golden Village VivoCity
Dates: 23 Jun 2022, 12 pm - 12.45 pm
Admission: $36 (members), $40 (non-members)
Golden Village VivoCity is organising for a fun-filled family day with Gru and the minions! Be among the first to catch Minions 2: The Rise of Gru and be entertained with wholesome activities for you and your little ones. There will be a meet-and-greet session with the mischievous duo, Bob and Kevin, life-size!
