Explore the National Day Special Exhibition - "Yours Sincerely"

Dates: 3 - 30 Aug 2024

Reflect on the words of Singapore’s National Pledge and explore the ways our actions uphold these values. This exhibition highlights how Singaporeans from diverse cultures, languages, and religions come together as "one united people."

By exploring the 4 zones at the exhibition, we invite your family to consider and have a conversation with your kids on the seemingly ordinary but surprising ways that our actions reflect the potent words of the National Pledge and make Singapore a place to love, protect, and call home.

Be Immersed at the Interactive Storytelling - One Journey

Dates: 3rd, 4th, and 9th August 2024, 11 am - 7 pm
Venue: Singapore Discovery Centre, Playground

Go on an enchanting journey through Singapore's rich heritage in a series of interactive and dramatised story-telling sessions! From the mystical tale of Sang Nila Utama and the majestic lion that inspired the name “Singapura” to the legendary story of the Swordfish Attack, you and your little ones are invited to be part of the immersive and engaging performances.

Be Part of the Music Performances at One Heartbeat! 

Dates: 3 - 4, 9 - 11 August 2024

Bring the National Day celebrations to a high with cultural melodies and performances by yIN Harmony, Ageless Bridge and more! Be delighted by the coming together of children's singing, nostalgic tunes of seniors playing the ukulele and instrumental melodies! 

You and your family are encouraged to sing along to the familiar tunes of classics like “Home,” “小人物的心声,” “Chan Mali Chan,” and “Where I Belong“, and to be part of the diverse voices and generations coming together for the performances.

Capture Memories at One Singapore!

Dates: 3 - 11 August 2024
Venue: Singapore Discovery Centre, Curve Wall

Capture unforgettable moments at the interactive photo corner. Kids can step into the shoes of a Minister, stand proudly on the podium, and participate in a heartfelt pledge-taking ceremony.

There's also a little challenge where you and your little ones can try saying the national pledge in the 4 official languages! 

Create A Personalised Photo Frame at My Home, My Singapore

Catch a Free Movie Screening of Wonderland 

Dates: 9 - 11 August 2024
Venue: Singapore Discovery Centre, iWERKS Theatre

Enjoy a local production 'Wonderland,' set in the 1980s, featuring a heartwarming story of a reserved and illiterate single father, a friendly neighbour, and a daughter studying overseas. 

Collect the Exclusive Commemorative Magnet Collectibles

Embark on self-guided trails across the Defence Collective Singapore museums and galleries for a chance to redeem National Day commemorative magnet collectibles!
