Here's a look at what families can expect and take part in this NDP2021! From pre-event happenings to fireworks near your home - there's something for everyone!
*Update 22 July 2021: The National Day Parade will be postponed to 21 Aug 2021, after the Phase 2 (HA) period. Rehearsals planned for 24 and 31 July has been cancelled and rescheduled.
The heartland fireworks and Red Lions displays previously announced to be held over the Aug 7 to 8 weekend will be cancelled too. Instead a ceremonial parade will be held on the original date of Aug 9 at the Float @ Marina Bay.

NDP2021 aims to have all Singaporean join in the National Day celebrations safely through a series of community activities across the island as well as a livestream of the pareade for those at home!
The popular NDP Parade and Show segments have been designed with a home audience in mind, and viewers can look forward to seeing television-exclusive special effects during the livestream. Other popular segments will also be brought closer to you too - read on to find out more!
Pre-Event Virtual Choir and Virtual Dance
Starting from 3 July to 19 July, join August, the NDP2021 Mascot, as he sings and dances to NDP 2021’s Theme Song “The Road Ahead”, incorporating dance moves by SportSG.

Red-Lions Free Fall
In 2020, we saw the Red-Lions free fall in Jurong and Sengkang for the first time. With that experience, we believe we will see the Red-Lions perform the popular segment across more locations for NDP2021 and excite more Singaporeans nearer to their homes!
The Red Lions will be doing test jumps around different sites till 29th July. So far, they have been spotted at Ghim Moh and Bishan.

NDP Fireworks In The Heartlands
Similar as previous years, NDP2021 will feature fireworks in the heartlands as the celebration is Livestreamed. With the fireworks across Singapore, more Singaporeans can view the fireworks "Live" from the comfort of their own homes and still be part of the celebrations!

*Update 22nd July: Rehearsals for 24 and 31 July has been postponed to a later date. The new dates are not announced to prevent crowds from gathering.
