#VolvoExplorers at New Bahru is part of the Volvo: Electrified event where kids will have the opportunity to design their own electric vehicles using everyday materials. Guided by friendly facilitators from The Artground, they will learn about the properties of various materials. For example, they will discover how plastic bottle caps are round, sturdy, and able to roll, and how they can use it as part of their creations.
This engaging experience, designed by The Artground, features a roadmap with familiar play areas that children love and frequent. Kids will have the chance to travel around in a specially designed cardboard Volvo car, adding excitement and fun to their adventure.
Volvo: Electrified will also feature experiential workshops, interactive activities for the little ones, as well as a pop-up Volvo Café presenting Swedish delights. This pop-up is an exciting sneak peek of the upcoming #VolvoExplorers space, which will be part of The Artground’s refreshed Explore Arts Space at Goodman Arts Centre, opening this October.

Singapore's Bayfront Event Space will be illuminated by illumi, the world's largest light, sound and multimedia event this September! Featuring installations with over 20 million LED lights, this will be illumi's international debut outside of Canada.
The multimedia light show first debuted in Montreal, Canada, back in 2019. In Singapore’s edition, visitors are invited to explore nine themed worlds, featuring the world’s tallest illuminated tree titled ‘Tree of Lights’ that stands at 47 metres, a dazzling Carousel, and nine different segments filled with lifelike animatronics and thousands of installations lit up with a whopping 20 million LED lights.
Bubble Planet: A Whimsical Realm of Bubbles and Fantasy

Bubble Planet: An Immersive Experience is making its Asia-Pacific debut in Singapore on 31 August 2024. The surreal and colorful interactive experience invites guests to escape into a whimsical world of bubbles, in which they can engage their senses and let their imaginations run wild.
In this multisensory experience, visitors will travel through fantastical landscapes and into imaginary metaverses filled with unique optical illusions and photo opportunities.

The playgrounds located at Waterway Sunrise 2 may not be new but we recently discovered them and would love to share this interesting find with you too! The playgrounds at the estate consist of 4 play areas suitable for all kids!
This includes the Whoosh playground located at Blk 654B. This unique playground design is sure to delight! The sleek and fluid playground structure invite smaller kids (3 years old and above) to explore and adventure through its dynamic three-dimensional netting.
Next to the Woosh playground, you will find a little playground with swings, slides and a family see-saw for more added fun!
Over at Blk 653A, you will discover 2 large twisted towers with towering beams of timber to create a diamond-like facade. The interiors of each tower consist of various climbing ropes that allows for varying difficulties of play.
Around the Dune Towers are shorter hammock steps and balancing poles to encourage little ones to climb and balance as well as sensory boards to keep them occupied too. Families will find a more common playground structure with slides, climbing walls, balancing bridge and poles for little ones to play at too!

The Voices of Singapore (VOS) Festival, returns for its ninth year to celebrate a singing Singapore. Set to take place from 2 – 5 September, the festival is now extended to four days and will be held at CHIJMES, Capitol Singapore Outdoor Plaza, and VOS Capitol Studios. For the first time, the VOS Festival will also be part of this year’s Singapore Night Festival.
Themed "Voices from an Island", this year’s festival highlights Singapore's diverse choral community, featuring singers of all ages and vocal ensembles. The festival will showcase captivating choral performances across various genres, workshops for all musical interests and choirs singing in different languages, reflecting the vibrant voices of our island nation.

The festival offers over 70 programmes, featuring choir exchanges, galas, workshops, recitals, open rehearsals, and outdoor performances concurrently across four locations.
