4. Hairy Crab Season Arrives at Min Jiang
As the highly anticipated Hairy Crab season approaches, this prized delicacy, known for its luxuriously buttery gold-hued roe, will be available from 15 Oct to 30 Nov 2023 at Goodwood Park Hotel’s Min Jiang and Min Jiang at Dempsey. 6. Gyutan-Tan Opens 2nd Outlet at Takashimaya Shopping Centre
Following the triumph of its debut on Tras Street in Nov 2022, Singapore's first ox tongue specialty restaurant, Gyutan-Tan, is unveiling its second outlet in Takashimaya S.C.!

Canopy opens at the Civil Service Club @ Changi, the sea-side garden-themed Canopy Changi Village offers a beachfront experience enriched with lush greenery, water features and even a sand pit for the little ones to play in. This pet-friendly venue is great for families and friends to dine while enjoying the stunning waterfront views overlooking Changi Creek, the Straits of Johor, and Pulau Ubin.

8. Toast Box Launches a Concept Store – Toast Box Coffee House at Tiong Bahru
New from Toast Box, Toast Box Coffee House is conceptualised as a dining destination that promises a familiar yet unforgettable experience – one that pays homage to the charismatic kopitiam that remains a quintessential icon of Singapore's cultural landscape, as well as the distinctive neighbourhood which is celebrated for its harmonious blend of tradition and modernity.
Families can soak up the enduring charm of old school coffee shops while tucking into the diverse extended menu of Nanyang specialties and British-influenced cuisine the likes of Old School Hainanese Pork Chop, Claypot Hokkien Prawn Mee and Claypot Laksa.

9. World’s 1st Houston Rockets Coffee Shop Takeover at luckin coffee Jewel Changi Airport
luckin coffee has raised the bar on its coffee game once more, this time quite literally with a one-of-a-kind collaboration with the Houston Rockets, from America’s National Basketball Assocation (NBA). 10. Burger Brand Honbo arrives in Singapore
Inaugurated in 2017 along Sun Street in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, Honbo has continually demanded queues that snake through the streets. The burger joint has won several awards, including the Best Burger (Eater’s Choice) in Lifestyle Asia’s MMMs Awards 2021 and Bloomberg’s Best Burgers 2020, amongst more.
The burger brand arrives in Singapore, its first overseas outlet, nestled within the iconic CHIJMES. Families can now bite into Honbo's unique rendition of simple and straightforward American-style burgers crafted in-house by hand, from buns to patties, sauces, and toppings.
Honbo’s beef is ground fresh daily in-house, free from preservatives, MSG, and additives, with each patty smashed on a flattop griddle upon order. To ensure consistency, Honbo exclusively imports its own USDA Double Gold Beef directly from Wisconsin, USA. Honbo generously employs only the whole chuck, brisket, and short rib in the making of its burgers, ensuring a perfect balance of flavours and textures.
Sandwiching its patties are house-made potato milk buns, also made fresh daily, from an all-natural exclusive recipe. The recipe gains an extra touch through using only hand-mashed potatoes prepared in-house. Honbo stands as the pioneer and patent owner of the potato milk bun recipe in Hong Kong.
11. Pâtisserie CLÉ marks its fifth-year milestone with new River Valley flagship store and Dairy Farm Café
Marking its fifth-year milestone, Pâtisserie CLÉ’s flagship store will move into a charming shophouse in River Valley at 415 River Valley Road in end-November. The prime city location gives fans of the homegrown brand convenient access to their offerings of finely executed French pastries and entremets, available for takeaway and delivery only.
For those craving an augmented experience, a full-fledged Pâtisserie CLÉ café set in the idyllic residential enclave of Dairy Farm is also slated to open in mid-December.
Founded as an online pastry shop in 2018, Pâtisserie CLÉ was created by local pastry chefs Germaine Li and Joy Chiam. Sharing a passion for French pastry-making, where fresh produce and flavours are employed to bring comfort and delight in equal measure; and a palate informed by their Singaporean roots, theirs was a natural, comfortable partnership. “Clé” being French for ‘key’, the Chefs wanted their French pastries to be the key to the hearts of their customers. 12. Mandarin Oriental Unveils embu
Located on Level 3 of Mandarin Oriental, embu features an expansive indoor area with communal tables and cosy sections in the main dining hall as well as an outdoor terrace that encompasses the grill and wood-fired pizza stations, along with a playground for the little ones.
Gourmands can look forward to a lavish spread of delicacies from embu's 11 culinary stations showcasing fresh seafood and succulent meats, a wide selection of sashimi and sushi, European and Asian delights, signature Indian and local specialties, and an ensemble of handcrafted desserts. Highlights also include freshly shucked Pacific & Atlantic oysters, a luxe rendition of Singapore Laksa topped with king prawn and scallop, Tandoori Chicken infused with saffron, and the locally inspired Chilli Crab pizza. 20. A New Menu at Path
Path unveils an all-new, meticulously crafted menu marked as a continuation of Executive Chef Marvas Ng’s personal culinary odyssey - an invitation for diners to savour the familiar East Asian flavours woven with his signature French finesse.
Path presents a familiar prix fixe menu format with the Expedition eight-course menu ($228++), the Voyage six-course menu ($188++), and the Flow four-course menu ($138++). 21. Rempapa's 2nd Anniversary - One-day-only Buffet-style Bash
Save the date - on 18 November, Rempapa hosts a Heritage Food Festival to commemorate turning two. For the occasion, Chef Damian joins forces with six MasterChef talents to unify all in an unforgettable fiesta of mouthwatering multicultural cuisine.

The establishment, which was launched on September 2, 2022, pays homage to the historical significance of Farrer Park Racecourse, Singapore's first horse-racing venue in the 1840s.
