Sentosa's signature Island Light event returns in 2020 with Sanrio characters including favourites such as Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, My Melody and Little Twin Stars. Mark 12 Dec 2020 on your calendars now!

Hello Kitty and Sanrio fans rejoice! From 12 Dec 2020 to 10 Jan 2021, popular Sanrio characters will be lighting up the Siloso Beach as part of Sentosa's festive beach light-up Island Lights with Sanrio characters.

The event features seven larger-than-life light installations on Siloso Beach. You and your family can expect lots of photo opportunities with favourites such as Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, My Melody and Little Twin Stars, as they whisk guests back to the past with classic icons from Sentosa over the years.

What Can You Expect

Grab your family's wefie with Hello Kitty at the stylistic recreation of the Sentosa Gateway arch, against a colourful and photo-worthy backdrop of heart-shaped lights, or reminisce about the times at Fantasy Island with Little Twin Stars, amidst an eight-metre-tall installation of the former attraction’s colourful waterslides.

Don't forget to join My Melody at a whimsical mini-maze featuring past landmarks such as the Ferry Terminal, or chill out with Pompompurin at a re-creation of the ‘Siloso’ word block.

End off the night with a family photo alongside LED neon outlines of the Sanrio Characters at a 12-metre long feature panel along Siloso Beach! Or prop up your feet and take in the night-time sights at one of five special benches, with LED light outlines of the loveable Sanrio characters as the back rests.

Free Entry But Reservations Required

Visiting the Island Lights is free but families will need to reserve your slots. Each reservation is for up to 5 persons or for bookings from 28 Dec, you may book for up to 8 persons, and there are 3 sessions to choose from each night.
