1. Free Skimboarding Experience @ Changi City Point

Venue: Changi City Point, Level 1 Urban Plaza
Date: 21 - 25 Dec 2022, 10 am - 6 pm
Admission: Free

Started last week, you and your family can try skimboarding for free at Level 1 Urban Plaza, Changi City Point! This pop-up experience is managed by the team from Skim Alley, Singapore's first and only flatland skimboarding venue, and is available ran or shine between 21 - 25 Dec 2022 from 10 am to 6 pm! 

Be in comfortable short or long-sleeved shirts and/or tights and/or shorts made of synthetic material such as “Lycra” or “Spandex" in order to skim. Also bring along a towel and change of clothes to take part 

2. Learn More About Anxiety At The EYELAH!

Venue: Temasek Shophouse, 28 Orchard Rd, S238832
Dates: 5 Dec 2022 to 4 Feb 2023
Admission: Free

The EYEYAH! pop-up museum is a showcase of 40 world-class artworks by contemporary digital artists from Singapore and ten other countries. It will be  touring venues and schools in Singapore and uses illustration to provoke conversation around mental health - including what anxiety looks and feels like, its causes, positive and negative anxiety, how to overcome it and resilience.

The exhibition and supporting programme which includes assembly talks and workshops for teachers is developed by EYEYAH!, and co-presented by the DesignSingapore Council with the support of The James Dyson Foundation.

3. Have Fun At The Whimsical Wonderland @ The Seletar Mall

Venue: The Seletar Mall, Level 1 Atrium
Dates: 9 - 25 Dec 2022
Admission: Free, min. fees apply

Families visiting The Seletar Mall in December will get to participate in the exciting and engaging Whimsical Land with Sir Little & Friends at the Level One Atrium! Simply spend a minimum of $40 to receive a pass (SRewards Members will receive 2 passes with minimum $40 spending) to take part in the activities at the Atrium.

Come into the Mirror Maze and escape before time runs out. There are also weekend workshops for more fun. Other activities at the Atrium include a VR game, Santa's fastest hand and more! 

There will be other exciting prizes to be won, including in the lucky draw and gachapon machine! 

4. Soak In The Festivities at the Great Christmas Village, Orchard Road

Venue: Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza
Dates: 7 Dec - 2 Jan 2023
Admission: Free

As part of Christmas on Orchard Road, the Great Christmas Village returns to Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza from 7 December 2022 to 2 January 2023.

Families can expect amusement rides, including the first-ever all-white carousel, an Inflatable Bouncer, Samba Balloon, Pirate Ship and Teacups. Those who have more time can register for art workshops ranging from alcohol ink painting, tapestry weaving, clay modelling, and crafting.

Not forgetting the food & drinks too! Expect popular outlets such as VeganBurg, Speciality Thai Grills, Magnum and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, and there will be a beer garden for those who wish to spend more time under the night skies!

Live music performed by local artistes will accompany you every Friday through Sunday, leading up to Christmas day itself!

5. Catch The Projections at Share the Moment - Marina Bay Countdown

Venue: The Fullerton Hotel and Merlion
Dates: 26 - 31 Dec 2022
Admission: Free

The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and Merlion will be lit up into a visual feast for the eyes! As part of Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2023, Share the Moment will light up with a series of colourful and dazzling light projections with the theme “City of Good”. 

These projections will feature never-before-seen original artworks by students from local educational institutions, which celebrate acts of giving and depict a vision of Singapore where individuals, organisations and leaders come together to give their best for others. This spectacular showcase is in partnership with the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) and Giving.sg. 

Catch the nightly light projections between 8pm and 10.30pm from 26 to 30 December, and between 8pm and 1am on New Year’s Eve.
