As the school holiday comes to an end, don't miss out on holiday events and experiences that are ending this weekend too! We highly recommend families who have not visited Gastrobeats or the Children's Festival to visit. Families may also wish to check out the family-friendly happenings at the Singapore Wellness Festival or to visit the reopened Singapore Navy Museum! How about looking at tanks and fighter planes - you can also catch the NDP rehearsals this Saturday too!

1. Massive Good Times at Gastrobeats
Venue: Bayfront Event Space
Dates: 1 - 25 June 2023, 4 pm - 11 pm daily

Gastrobeat returns in 2023 to the Bayfront Event Space! This year's experience will include thematic streets dedicated to different cuisines. Each thematic street is packed with local hawkers showcasing their signature dishes, all prepared with authentic ingredients and traditional cooking methods. Expect to be amazed while browsing through a variety of unique street food classics that showcase both innovation and community diversity.
That's not all, families may also get tickets to the space-themed Jumptopia that features 2 different play zones, Galaxy Adventure Zone and Jumptopia Wild! There will even be a water play zone with 2 new inflatables for kids to enjoy too!
2. Children's Festival Returns To Excite!
Venue: SuperTree Grove, Gardens by the Bay
Dates: 10 - 25 Jun 2023, 10 am - 7 pm
Admission: Free, fees may apply for selected programmes
The annual Children's Festival is back! In this year's edition, families can join Calvin on a fun day out in Nature’s Imaginarium at the Gardens by the Bay, SuperTree Grove!
Follow Calvin on his quest to find his lost shoes and earn a reward, customise your own souvenirs at the free activities, or simply spend the day playing with and getting to know Calvin’s friends who live in the Gardens. And as the sun sets, lay your picnic mat to enjoy an outdoor movie screening among the Supertrees!
3. Enjoy Family Wellness Fun at the Singapore Wellness Festival
Venue: Multiple
Dates: 17 Jun - 9 Jul 2023
Admission: Depending on activities
Families will be in for a treat at this year’s Wellness Festival Singapore (WFS)! Held from 17 June till 9 July 2023, this year’s festival will give families the opportunity to explore the wide range of Singapore’s wellness offerings!
The anchor event for WFS 2023 is a multi-sensory pop-up at the Marina Bay Sands’ Event Plaza, with six different zones offering fun, innovative public installations, masterclasses as well as food and beverage. Families can create relaxing sounds by interacting with floating cubes of textured materials at the ASMR Wonderland, or go on the Mirror Scent Trail, where families can go on a journey along a reimagined “urban jungle”, accompanied by unique scents representing the ebb and flow of daily life. There will also be an Active Arena with an obstacle course, slackline for balancing and punching bags for letting off steam!
Event supporting the festival will be held across the island including Zentosa LiveWELL Festival at Sentosa, Gallery Wellness Festival at National Gallery Singapore, and more!
4. Catch the National Day Parade 2023 Rehearsal

Date: 17 Jun 2023, approx. 1 pm onwards
Admission: Free
Families who are keen to catch the sights and sounds of the National Day Parade 2023, you can try to head down to the vicinity of the Padang to catch the rehearsals happening on 17 Jun 2023. While you cannot enter the area, you can hang around to catch the mobile column (they will line-up along North Bridge Road outside Funan Mall) or the fighter jets soaring across the skies! The best spot will be outside The Arts House / Parliament House.
While there were fireworks in the previous rehearsal, we do not have any confirmation on fireworks for subsequent ones. If you are keen, the main fireworks will be happening at the Marina Bay area, so you may wish to head down and arrive before 8 pm.
5. Visit the Reopened Republic of Singapore Navy Museum

The Singapore Navy Museum is a 3-storey museum that showcases the history of the Republic of Singapore Navy and the journey it took to be the modern fighting force today! Closed for a revamp, the museum reopened over the weekend and families can now arrange a visit to discover a brand-new look and exhibits!
Journey through the museum to discover more about the RSS Panglima, the first ship of the Republic of Singapore Navy, to more advance ships and equipment of today's Navy! There will also be interactive elements where you can discover the different aspects of the Singapore Navy!
