The Best Things To Do With Kids In Singapore This Week (20 - 26 Dec 2021)

Let's end off the year with more family fun events and activities to bring the kids out to, and more plans for a better 2022!

It has been a massive holiday period with so much happening the last few weeks! Many of these events are still ongoing and some into mid-2022 - so don't forget to check back on our previous write-ups for more details.

Meet The Minions @ The Minion Cafe

Location: 3A River Valley Road, Merchant's Court, #01-01C to 01D, Block A Clarke Quay, Singapore 179020
Dates:  13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28 December (Every Mon & Tue)
Time (three sessions a day): 12pm – 12.30pm | 2.30pm – 3pm | 5.30pm – 6pm

The Minion Cafe opened in Oct at Clarke Quay and many families were really excited about the opening! There is now more reasons to be excited as the cafe has invited life-size Minion mascots to the Minion Café and take pictures with fans. 

There is no requirements, so just come on down and meet up with your favourite Minion friends Bob and Kevin! They will be there every Mon and Tue at 3 different timings! 

SpongeBob SquarePants Pop-up Cafe

Venue: 8 Jalan Klapa, Singapore 199320
Date: From 16 Dec 2021 for a limited time
Opening Hours: Wed to Sun, 12pm to 9.30pm | Closed on Mon and Tue

Kumoya is pleased to present the world’s first SpongeBob SquarePants x Impossible collaboration pop-up café from 16 December 2021. Get ready to dive into an undersea world adventure with SpongeBob SquarePants and his buddies, including Patrick Star and the rest of the gang like Squidward, Gary, Mr Krabs and Plankton, with a specially curated menu! 

You can expect a specially designed interior and food items that are plant-based. Items range from $7.90 to $26.90! 

Jurassic Dinosaurs @ Downtown East

The talk around the Jurassic Dinosaur Adventure Park Interactive Indoor Playground has been ongoing for awhile! Finally, we are approaching the opening date to find out more about the event and what to expect! 

We are looking forward to all-things dinosaur related from rides to photo-opportunities! Here's what the event description says "Children can play at the dinosaur fossil cave, dinosaur riding area, soft playing area, volcano trampoline, dinosaur train, shooting game, 3-meter volcano area and many more." Sounds like there will be lots to do! 

ForestPlay SG

Venue: 112 Tanjong Beach Walk Singapore, Singapore 098945
Opening Hours: 10 am - 12 pm | 1.30 pm - 3.30 pm | 4 pm - 6 pm 
Admission: $39.90 (tickets available on bykido.com)

Located at Sentosa is Singapore first nature adventure playground, ForestPlay SG, a nature playscape filled with unique challenges for kids! Children are allowed to use real tools such as saws, hammers, and nails to build a structure of their own, and to use their imagination and teamwork to create what comes to mind! 

Also available at ForestPlay are the mud & sand play as well as obstacle course. This is a kids-only experience that is guided by Playworkers while parents can observe from outside. It is a unique experience for both parents and kids. 

This Christmas period, look forward to seasonal and limited time only activities such as Knot Tying and Lashing stations, Enchanted Christmas Prize Wheel and Secret Santa when you join a session!

Jumptopia: Wonder Garden

Venue: Gardens by the Bay, Bayfront Pavilion

Jumptopia: Wonder Garden will be happening at Gardens by the Bay, Bayfront Pavilion from 20 Dec 2021 to 3 Jul 2022. This new Jumptopia experience is great for the kids who are full of energy and parents who love to join in the fun! 

While not as big as its predecessors, Jumptopia: Wonder Garden makes use of the entire space to bring about a bouncy garden filled with different fruits, vegetables and animals! 

There is also a Kith cafe (with limited seating) available for parents who prefer not to join in.
