1. Celebrate The Nation's 59th Birthday At Our Tampines Hub

Our Tampines Hub (OTH), Singapore’s largest integrated community and lifestyle hub, is hosting the 59th National Day 2024 Celebrations from 8 to 11 August 2024, in conjunction with the Hub’s 7th Anniversary. Pumping up the excitement will be four days of fun-filled activities, entertainment and freebies for the public.
Enjoy captivating music and dance performances by local artists, featuring young talents from The Little Skool-House International. Join the action-packed Nerf Party for families, recite the National Pledge, and sing the National Anthem with Tampines Advisers.
Experience a mesmerizing harp concert and enjoy performances by local orchestras and vocalists. Watch the National Day Parade, State Flag Flypast live on 9 August 2024, ending with dazzling fireworks.
Explore Singapore's multi-racial heritage through culinary workshops, participate in the 2.3km Challenge at the Jogging Track, and enjoy a live broadcast of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra’s National Day Concert.

2. Celebrate National Day 2024 at Singapore Discovery Centre

Get ready for an exciting and heartwarming celebration as Singapore Discovery Centre marks Singapore's National Day with a series of engaging activities and experiences designed for families.
Reflect on Singapore's unity as you explore four zones showing how diverse actions uphold the National Pledge's values. Enjoy dramatised tales of Singapore's heritage (like Sang Nila Utama and the Swordfish Attack), and sing along with yIN Harmony and Ageless Bridge to classic songs like “Home” and “Where I Belong,” uniting voices across generations.
Capture fun moments as kids step into roles like a Minister and participate in pledge-taking ceremonies. Try saying the national pledge in all four official languages, and design a unique frame to showcase your favourite Singapore pride moments. Enjoy a local production set in the 1980s (featuring a touching story of family and community), and visit various locations like the Singapore Navy Museum and Singapore Air Force Museum to collect exclusive designs.

3. Experience Vibrant Arts Performances Across Singapore with ArtsEverywhere@CDC
Venue: In the five Community Development Councils (CDC) districts
Date: 3 August to 19 October 2024
Admission: Free
Supported by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, ArtsEverywhere@CDC is a collaboration between the National Arts Council, People's Association, and the five Community Development Councils.
Some of the event highlights you can look forward to include "My Identity: Beyond Artistry", a dance musical featuring compositions by Niranjan Pandian, workshops, such as, Make Your Own Chinese Spinning Rattle Drum, Recycled Material Fan Creation, Parai and Karagam Music & Dance, and Make It and Play It! Percussions.
You and your family will also get to enjoy "Music in the heART_lands!" by the Philharmonic Wind Orchestra Ensemble, as well as an art installation inspired by a Chinese painting celebrating Singapore's arts, culture, and biodiversity.

4. Sign Up For The SAFRA Sprint Kids 2024
Venue: SAFRA Jurong
Dates: 31 Aug and 1 Sep 2024
Fees: From $25
Parents, mark your calendars for a thrilling event that your children will love! SAFRA Sprint Kids 2024 is back, offering an exhilarating ninja-themed obstacle course for kids aged 3 to 12 years. Watch your little ones race through an inflatable course and obstacle course, testing their speed and agility. Categories include Shinobi Junior (7-9 years old) and Shinobi Senior (10-12 years old), with separate categories for both boys and girls. You can also choose to participate with your child in the Families for Life Parent & Child competitive or non-competitive categories, a great way to bond and create lasting memories!
Each participant will receive a race pack worth $40, including an event t-shirt, sling bag and finisher face gear! The top 10 participants in each competitive category (based on timing) will win cash prizes and medals. Plus, be one of the top 3 parent-child participants with the most creative outfit for Sunday’s race to walk away with fabulous prizes!
