1. Enjoy Free Ice Cream at Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day!

Enjoy free scoops of classic flavours like Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Cookie Dough, plus Scoop Shop exclusives and non-dairy, halal-certified options. A fun, tasty outing for kids and parents alike—don’t miss this chance to indulge for free!

2. Have a Fun & Cultural Day Out at the Istana Open House

Venue: The Istana, 35 Orchard Road, Singapore, 238823

Fee: Free admission for Singaporeans and PR

Celebrate Hari Raya Puasa and Labour Day with a visit to the Istana Open House on 13 April 2025, from 8.30am to 6pm. Enjoy free entry for Singaporeans and PRs to the beautiful Istana grounds, and join in the fun with cultural performances, food stalls, and family-friendly activities.

Explore the Istana Villa and go on a guided heritage tour (pre-registration needed) to discover its rich history and lush gardens. Fees apply for tours, and only cashless payments are accepted.

Note: Prohibited items include sharp objects, lighters, and tripods.

3. Sign Up for the Cold Storage & Giant Kids Run 2025

Venue: Siloso Beach, Sentosa
Date: 29 Jun 2025
Time: 8am to 12pm

Fee: $20 to $65

Mark your calendars for 29 June 2025 as the Cold Storage & Giant Kids Run returns—this time at Siloso Beach, Sentosa! Expect competitive races for ages 7–12, non-competitive family fun runs, and a free Breakfast Run at Marina Barrage for early registrants (limited to the first 300 participants).

Enjoy a vibrant carnival with obstacle courses, sandcastle building, face painting, a magic show, and more! Tickets start from $55, with early bird + UOB card discounts available till 30 April 2025.

All participants will receive a runner’s pack worth $100 and enjoy free Sentosa entry and shuttle bus access.

4. Check Out the New SMIGY Playground at United Square – Now at B1!

Venue: United Square Level B1, Under Starbucks
Opening Hours10am to 8pm (Mon to Thu), 10am to 9pm (Fri to Sun)
Admission: $23 (1 hour), $35 (2 hours) – 1 child + 1 adult

SMIGY Indoor Playground at United Square reopens at its new Level B1 location (just below Starbucks)—and it’s bigger, brighter, and better than ever!

Expect a massive ball pit, an exciting LED slide, hinoki bead play, trampolines with interactive screens, pretend play zones, and even a Mother Cow milking station! There's also a party room for birthdays and private playdates.

5. Discover the New PropNex Family Zone at Gardens by the Bay

Venue: PropNex Family Zone and Active Garden, Gardens by the Bay (closer to Marina Bay Sands)
Opening Hours: 5am to 2am
Admission: Free

A fresh outdoor play space has sprouted at Gardens by the Bay! The PropNex Family Zone, in collaboration with Families for Life, is a free playground at Active Garden featuring nature-inspired elements that encourage imaginative and active play.

Climb mini Supertree towers, tackle wooden obstacle courses, glide on a flying fox, and dig into a shaded sandpit! Little ones will love the gardening-themed play area, complete with veggie props and a mini market stall. Keep an eye out for Becky Bunny, the Families for Life mascot, for fun photo ops!

This inclusive playground offers plenty of seating, nearby toilets, and a scenic setting by the waterfront—ideal for a family day out.

Located at Active Garden (not the Far East Children’s Garden), it’s closest to Bayfront Plaza Carpark and about a 10-min walk from Bayfront MRT. You can also catch a tram from the Flower Dome for a small fee.
