Ranger Buddies aims to nurture children aged 4 - 10 to become heroes for the Earth by championing conservation and sustainability. Through fun and exciting missions and activities, children develop confidence, learn C.O.U.R.A.G.E strengths and develop a desire to spark change for themselves, others, and the Earth.

The C.O.U.R.A.G.E. strengths - Curiosity, Optimism, Undauntedness, Resourcefulness, Adaptability, Grit, and Empathy - are integrated into every mission, empowering children to learn and take action on caring for wildlife and the Earth.

The Great Climate Rescue

Ranger Buddies, Arlo the Penguin needs your help to save his cousins! Come down to HarbourFront Centre to embark on the Great Climate Rescue with Arlo. Children will take part in exciting mission activities that teach them about the impact of global warming on the environment and wildlife, and how they can make a difference by adopting simple yet powerful climate-positive habits to create a happier and healthier planet for us all!

There will be different exciting and fun mission activities for children to complete! Once they complete a station, children will receive a stamp on their mission card - complete the mission card to get rewarded with a Ranger Buddies digital and physical badge!

Sounds exciting? Here are the stations that your children will need to complete!  

  • Teleport to Antarctica to meet Arlo, the King Penguin
  • Rescue the stranded King Penguins by crossing thinning ice and icebergs
  • Power up your boat by pedalling to produce kinetic energy
  • Sail back home on your powered-up boat
  • Brainstorm positive actions to reduce your carbon footprint starting from home
  • Test your knowledge with a fun puzzle and learn about the vital role of the rainforest
  • At the end of the mission, take a family photo and redeem your reward
