First up is the official Light- Up and Opening Ceremony happening on 8th Sep from 6.30pm @ New Bridge Road and Eu Tong Sen Street! There willbe fireworks at the end!
1. Mass Lantern Walk
Location: Kreta Ayer Square (starting point) | Along New Bridge Road (ending point)
Date: 23 Sept 2018
Hour: 7 pm – 10 pm
Enjoy a leisurely stroll with your creative lanterns, appreciating the dragon dance troupes, energetic cheerleaders and the percussion band along the way. Conclude your walk with stage performances, pyrotechnics and fireworks display in the heart of Chinatown.

2. Street Light Up
Location: Along New Bridge Road, Eu Tong Sen Street and South Bridge Road
Date: 8 Sept – 8 Oct 2018
Hour: 7 pm – 12 am (Sunday – Thursday) | 7 pm – 2 am (Friday & Saturday)
Discover the stories of Chinatown whilst admiring the stunning decorations and lantern along the street.

3. Nightly Stage Shows
Location: Kreta Ayer Square

Feast your eyes on stellar Chinese cultural acts, folk songs, and music and dance brought to you by both local and overseas artistes.
4. Singapore Culture and Heritage Trail – Cantonese Chapter: “Reliving the Yesteryears Once More”
Location: Kreta Ayer Square
Date: 21 Sept – 22 Sept 2018
Hour: 5 pm – 10 pm
Take a step back in time and experience the nostalgic and fascinating era of 50s and 60s in Chinatown. Get a taste of history, culture and heritage of the early Cantonese immigrants as well as a variety of Cantonese cuisine.
5. Festive Trade Fair and Festive Bazaar
Location:
- Carnival: Open space in front of People’s Park Complex
- Street Stall: Pagoda Street, Trengganu Street, Sago Street and Smith Street
