Dance Performances
Located within the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan Cultural Academy, the iconic big tree serves as a majestic backdrop to an evening of dazzling dance performances prepared by SCDT’s company dancers Performance Troupes (Children, Junior, Youth), SCDT’s training classes students as well as students of neighbouring schools.
Fringe Activities
Apart from dance performances, audiences can also look forward to a variety of fringe activities such as Chinese dance themed games, DIY props-making and more.

The event’s carnival atmosphere is enhanced by a selection of delicious food options, allowing families to indulge while enjoying the performances.

For a truly immersive experience, participants are encouraged to bring picnic mats, transforming the evening into a delightful outdoor picnic with family and friends.
Rain Contingency
In case of rain, the performances will be relocated indoors, with wristbands providing priority entry for the first 500 attendees. These wristbands will be distributed to ticket holders starting at 6.15pm.
Transportation & Parking Information
The event is easily accessible via public transportation, with shuttle bus services available from Bedok MRT (Exit A) and Bayshore MRT from 5.45pm to 10.00pm. Driving is discouraged due to limited parking at the venue.
