Access millions of e-reading materials for free as part of the National Library’s ‘Please sit at home and read’ Campaign!
If you’re craving for something to do while you hole yourself up in your home with your kids, you’ll be delighted to know that you have a choice of over 1000s of books that you can borrow from the National Library of Malaysia (PNM) for free!
According to its website, the library has more than 10,600 ebooks, 500 audiobooks, and 98 read-along titles. You are entitled to borrow 10 books at a time, which is probably more than enough to keep the whole family entertained! Â
To borrow the books, you first have to register as an online user on the library website (http://pnm.elib.com.my/) – the process takes less than 5 minutes. You can start borrowing once you’re done, it’s as easy as that!
You can start reading on PNM Overdrive or download the library’s e-reader, the Libby app on to your phone or tablet to read from anywhere! And with just a few clicks, you’ll have thousands of books at your fingertips.
