Showcasing the vibrant flavours and rich heritage of Taiwanese cuisine, Typhoon Cafe revamps their menu with amazing new dishes

Bringing a taste of Taiwan to Singaporeans, Typhoon Cafe is beautifully designed to simulate a hole in-the-wall cafe along Taiwan’s quaint Fujian Cafe Street. Now with lower prices, Typhoon Cafe’s outlets are conveniently available, and are perfect for any time of the day from quick lunches for students/professionals to afternoon high teas and even after work casual dinner with family.

The Momofuku Buns

You can start off with the Momofuku Buns, a delectable fusion of tender pork belly and fluffy steamed bun which comes in three different flavours, Mei Cai, Mala Pork Belly and Lu Rou. You can now get them for $6.90 each!

A delectable fusion of tender pork belly and fluffy steamed bun, the Mei Cai adds a delightful crunch and tang while the Lu Rou melts in your mouth. Catering to Singaporean’s love for Mala, the Mala Pork Belly introduces a complex profile of Sichuan peppercorns, chilli oil, and aromatic spices that are both invigorating and deeply satisfying.

The Menu

As for the mainstay, you might spend $9.90 to dig in Typhoon Signatures such as the Signature Taiwanese Oyster Mee Sua and Taiwan Lu Rou Rice, a comforting classic featuring savoury braised pork belly atop steamed rice, infused with fragrant spices and served with a side of pickled vegetables, or opt to have it with noodles with the Taiwan Lu Rou Mian (dry) with the same price as the rice one.

To step up the pleasure, they have the Taiwanese Shrimp Fried Rice with Crabmeat Gravy ($12.90), a tantalising blend of succulent shrimp, fragrant rice, and rich crabmeat gravy.

Need something other than rice? The Szechuan Mala Tossed Knife-cut Noodles with Braised Beef (Dry) is a perfect option! For $12.90 you get a broad and chewy hand-cut noodles tossed in a vibrant, spicy Mala sauce and topped with tender, slow-braised Beef. Add ons of Beef Tripe and Beef Tendon are also available.

Kids Meals

Typhoon Cafe also have Kids Meals on the menu! They have the Egg Fried Rice Set ($9.90), a simple yet satisfying dish combining fluffy, aromatic rice stir-fried with eggs paired with Golden Chicken Fritters.

Another one is a Smooth and perfectly chewy, the La Mian Set ($9.90) comes with Chicken Chop. Both meals ends on sweet high with a Chocolate Waffle with Vanilla Ice Cream and Homemade Soya Milk Drink. What a delight for the little ones!

The Dessert

To finish the delightful meal, a sweet dessert comes to the rescue! Typhoon Cafe has kept their range Soufflé Pancake ($16.80), an artfully layered dessert where each delicate soufflé is expertly baked to achieve a heavenly light and fluffy texture.
