Calling all record fiends, crate-diggers extraordinaire and music lovers ready to lose yourselves in the warm embrace of analog sound! Vinyl warriors can now get their groove on as Little Island Brewing Company at Gillman Barracks brings you Singapore’s first vintage vinyl bar, featuring the iconic Altec Lansing A5-X Speakers from The 1950s.

Family Fun and More

Bring the kids for fun for the whole family. Experience one of the first mini-Vespa scooter rides in Singapore, along with an old-school playground outdoors, and a bouncy castle to expend any excess energy. The outdoors is also pet-friendly for the four-legged members of the family!

Every Wednesday, it premieres Waxy Wednesdays, a night where the needle meets the grooves of old school vinyls for retro magic that crackles in the air filled with retro vibes! Immerse in a range of retro music from the 70s and 80s every Wednesday, 7-10pm, where vintage vibes take over for an audio experience as rich and complex as the brewery’s award-winning beers.

Every Friday and Saturday, look forward to live band performances, played in an audiophile haven that will redefine your listening experience. The atmosphere will be completed with retro Instaworthy corners featuring telephones through the ages and old school memorabilia, perfect for photos or a close huddle with that special date.

The Menu

Exclusive to Gillman Barracks is the Vinyl Charcoal Pizza, created in the image of the nostalgic allure of vintage vinyl records. The charcoal pizza is a culinary masterpiece that is baked to order and served with black dough tinted stylishly noir with activated charcoal. The striking black colour, reminiscent of vinyl's timeless elegance, is a visual representation of our love for music and the analog sound.

Local flavours can be found with the Nasi Kerabu with Rendang Daging, a plate of vibrant flavours drawing from blue pea flower-tinted coconut rice paired with tender slow-braised spicy beef neck, showcasing the best of Malaysian cuisine.

Golden satisfying crunch is presented with the Slow Roasted Pork Belly, succulent pork belly slow-roasted to perfection, topped with a sinfully crispy pork crackling that adds a decadent crunch to every bite. Crowned with a fennel honey vinegar glaze, tomato sambalado, fresh cucumber, and a hint of lime, it promises tender meat and the crunchiest crackling laced with just enough zing to have you yearning more.

Snacks aplenty make for the perfect nibble to go with your tipple. The Khmer Peanuts is a modern take on the classic kacang putih, elevating the bestselling bar snack of roasted peanuts with dusting of kaffir lime leaves, chili, garlic, sugar and sea salt. The Dukkah Cauliflower promises a whole head of oven-roasted cauliflower seasoned with Egyptian dukkah spice and garnished with pine nuts for a delightful crunch. Miss not the Little Island Chicken Wings, juicy wings marinated in a mixture of soy sauce, black pepper, garlic, and a secret house-blend of seasonings before grilled until they are cooked through and develop a flavourful char on the outside.

Little Island Brewing Co. prides itself on selling only its own beer, brewed at its very own microbrewery at the flagship store at Changi Village.
