5. Celebrate sake season at Goodwood Park Hotel!

On 1 October 2022, Goodwood Park Hotel is thrilled to present ‘Oishii Kanpai!’ – a one-night-only exclusive event in celebration of World Sake Day.
Guests may look forward to a wide variety of free-flow Japanese sake, a sumptuous buffet spread of appetisers, savouries like beef short ribs, oven-baked Cajun tiger prawns, live stations for laksa, satay and Peking duck, along with an assortment of desserts, prepared by the hotel’s culinary team. 6. Bedrock Launches an Un-Burger-Lievable Pop-Up with BR by Bedrock

From now till 31 December 2022, renowned steakhouse, Bedrock launches a selection of gourmet burgers for the very first time with a pop-up concept – BR by Bedrock at Oriole Coffee + Bar. Available from 5.30pm daily, BR by Bedrock offers satiating burgers featuring premium ingredients like cooked-to-order patties hand-made from 100% high quality US Prime beef and potato buns freshly baked in-house daily.
The pop-up showcases seven burgers on the menu – all served with addictive Dutch thick-cut fries and piquant house-made pickles. The OMG ($32++) features an unctuous beef patty, sautéed onions, sautéed mushrooms, and Gruyere cheese. The Smokin’ Gun ($34++) bursts of smoky flavour with a juicy beef patty brushed with BBQ sauce, a sunny-side up egg, grilled thick cut bacon, and oak-smoked cheddar cheese. Mighty N’ Cheesy ($32++) sees double beef patties, caramelised onions, and oozy Gruyere and Jack cheese. Bun-Jovi ($42++) rocks with sliced striploin steak, scrambled eggs, Gruyere cheese, and house-made tomato jam. Avalanche ($42++) highlights a hunky braised Australian short rib, smoked ham, Gruyere cheese, and a zesty chimichurri.
Non-beef options include Catch 96 ($48++) with a Canadian lobster tail tossed in béarnaise sauce, topped with grilled bacon, Gruyere and Jack cheese; while the Chick-A-Boo ($29++) has a flavoursome grilled herb-marinated chicken atop freshly sliced avocado, truffle mayonnaise, and quince jam.
Available till 11 September 2022 for dine-in only, every purchase of a BR by Bedrock burger comes with a complimentary half-pint draft beer of Kroonenberg Blanc, Asahi “Super Dry”, or Connor’s Stout Porter.
7. Thirty-Six Brewlab & Smokehouse Launches A New Kids Menu

Always warm and welcoming, one of Thirty Six Brewlab & Smokehouse’s main pillars is the celebration of community. This means that there is always something for everyone – including the little ones. This inspired Thirty Six to introduce an all new Lion Cubs Menu ($22.36++).
Crafted specially for those 12 years old and below, each meal in the menu comes with a choice of a kid’s main, one drink, a complimentary scoop of ice cream and a goody bag. Better yet, the menu itself doubles up as a fun-filled activity sheet to keep the young diners occupied.
8. A Spectacular New Lunch Menu At MASL

From now until 30 October 2022, the culinary super couple behind World #2 restaurant, Central, comprising world-renowned Peruvian chef and restaurateur Virgilio Martínez and 2021 World’s Best Female Chef Pía León, are headlining ‘Meters Above Sea Level’, a unique culinary residency presented by Mandala Masters and Mandala Club. The very first time the husband and wife team are working together in a project of this kind outside of Peru, Meters Above Sea Level takes diners on a unique one of a kind dining experience created specially for Singapore. Multi-course tasting menus of dishes developed exclusively for MASL present Peru’s vastly biodiverse landscapes and ecosystems in an experience unlike anything before in Singapore.
The multi-course tasting menu journeys through altitudes ranging from -10 masl to 3,850 masl, taking guests on a cultural adventure of taste, texture and ideas. Each dish is named according to its altitude, and the menu explores all corners of the country, with below sea level selections of squid, caviar and abalone, as well as a dramatic, natural blue presentation of scallops, spirulina and uni. Tthe menu peaks at 3,850 masl with a presentation of native tuber, clay and high altitude leaves.

From 1 October to 2 December 2022, the Dusk Restaurant & Bar and award-winning Danish winery, Frederiksdal will introduce a limited-time four-course wine pairing set dinner menu ($148++ per person) featuring an exquisite selection of the winery’s critically acclaimed cherry wines specially curated by Frederiksdal’s Master of Wine Jonas Tofterup.
Dinner commences with the Cappuccino of Morel & Italian Summer Truffle, paired with the full-bodied Frederiksdal Rancio that enhances the mushroom flavours of the first course. Served next is an appetiser of Laksa Tiger Prawn Capellini, featuring a succulent giant tiger prawn and sautéed angel hair pasta tossed in aromatic laksa infused oil. The dish is paired with Frederiksdal Sur Lie, a richer and deeper tasting wine aged in French oak barrels that encapsulates the spicy kick of the laksa flavour.

Meticulously-prepared with finesse by the restaurant’s stellar team of chefs, these specialty dishes served in claypots are brimming with delectable and plump 10-head abalones.
- Abalone Braised with Oyster Mushroom in San-Bei Sauce 鲍鱼三杯菇 ($36) comprising thoroughly-braised succulent abalone, four kinds of mushrooms – oyster, abalone, shimeji and shiitake – in a thick gravy permeated with the aromatics of garlic cloves and Thai basil leaves for a herbaceous kick.
- Abalone and Seafood Rice in Superior Broth 鲍鱼海鲜泡饭 ($32) is a comforting and savoury claypot of fluffy jasmine rice immersed in a rich and flavourful seafood broth made with a winsome combination of cuttlefish strips, ‘lala’ or clams, and abalone.
- Braised Chicken and Abalone with Ginger and Spring Onion 红烧鲍鱼焖鸡煲 ($36) is an unassuming but flavourful number with sauteed succulent chicken chunks, shiitake mushrooms, abalone, spring onions and carrots sauteed in a luscious sauce.

17. Yàn Welcomes Autumn with a Nourishing Cantonese Feast

From now till 31 Oct 2022, Yàn offers a five-course Wellness Menu ($68++ per person) specially developed for autumn with guidance from Zhongjing TCM Clinic. This seasonal menu continues the collaboration with Zhongjing TCM Clinic, which began in May, to curate wholesome Cantonese delights focusing on shi liao (食疗) with the expertise of the physicians. For this season, Yàn’s menu weaves together ingredients such as cordyceps flower, black fungus, and glehnia root to relieve dampness and provide support to the immune system. Classic techniques such as steaming, stewing, and double-boiling are applied to bring out the natural flavours of the ingredients.
Exclusively on 2 Oct 2022, a workshop ($85 nett per person) combines the five-course menu with a knowledge sharing session led by an experienced TCM practitioner. Physician Lim Yanting from Zhongjing TCM Clinic will guide guests through the menu and share professional insights on sustaining wellness through food therapy.
18. A Hairy Crab Feast at Min Jiang and Min Jiang at Dempsey

The highly coveted Hairy Crabs make a comeback this season at Goodwood Park Hotel’s Min Jiang and Min Jiang at Dempsey. Lauded for its succulent meat and decadently rich roe, this pristine crustacean is presented in a myriad of ways across stellar set menus and à la carte options exclusively available from 10 October to 30 November 2022, or while seasonal stocks last.
Hairy Crab connoisseurs will be able to satisfy their cravings by indulging in two NEW must-have dishes – Braised Hairy Crabmeat and Roe with Crystal Noodles at Min Jiang; and Crispy-fried Hairy Crabmeat with Prawn Ball at Min Jiang at Dempsey, alongside returning favourites such as Steamed 'Xiao Long Bao' with Hairy Crabmeat; Steamed Hairy Crab; Steamed Hairy Crab with Glutinous Rice served in Bamboo Basket; Homemade Tofu with Hairy Crabmeat, Assorted Mushrooms and Seasonal Greens; Baked Hairy Crabmeat in Mushroom; and Rice Crisp with Hairy Crabmeat and Egg White. To complete the experience, a slew of dishes that complement the prized delicacy will also be available.
19. Altro Zafferano - A New Chapter Blooms

Zafferano makes 10 years of hosting joyous occasions and building beautiful relationships with a fresh concept including a new name and refreshed interiors. Altro Zafferano will serve contemporary Italian cuisine interpreted through the South Italian lens of Executive Chef Andrea De Paola.
The a la carte menu features contemporary renditions of South Italian classics. The experience menu ($148++ per person) allows guests to curate a 4-course tasting exploration of a la carte dishes. A 3-course weekday set lunch ($78++ per person) presents a mid-day Italian respite; and at the alfresco Terrace Lounge, light snacks (from $10++) are offered alongside a beverage menu for pre- or post-meal social interactions.
Highlights of the new interiors include a 12m-long open kitchen that parallels the length of the entryway – a distinctive design that places the kitchen at the forefront of the restaurant, like no other. As guests walk to the dining table, they are immersed in the vibrant dynamics of the kitchen and aromas of dishes that are finished at the pass by Chef Andrea stationed along the walkway; a multi-sensorial preview of the gastronomic wonders to come.
In addition to an expansive main dining area and an intimate private dining room with a private entrance, Altro Zafferano features a new private dining enclave that allows flexible configuration into one or two rooms. Returning this September, the highly-anticipated Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix makes a comeback, and 1-Arden will blaze the trail with an exhilarating programme of entertainment and activities as the night comes alive with electrifying racing action.
On race days, 1st and 2nd October 2022, "The Circuit" continues as the official after-party location for Heineken (Headline Global Partner for F1) at the 1-Arden rooftop on level 51 of CapitaSpring. The circuit-like rooftop garden will host exciting race-themed activities amidst captivating light installations at its bespoke lifestyle enclaves.
