The Cheesy Zinger Meltz may be a quesadilla, but it is no ordinary one. It is the crunchiest quesadilla ever. 25. Guzman Y Gomez “Comes Clean” With 100% Clean Menu
Guzman y Gomez brings its commitment to ensure menu has no unacceptable additives, no added preservatives, no added colours and no artificial flavours in their food to Singapore!
In Australia, GYG started its journey to Clean in 2016, beginning with an audit of all menu items. A list of unacceptable additives was developed to identify ingredients that are believed to have health implications, or have been subject to warnings. GYG then began transitioning to a 100% Clean food menu.
Over the following three years, GYG sourced, tested and trialled new menu alternatives. In less than 12 months, GYG removed all added preservatives from its tortillas, corn chips and hard tacos. The journey also resulted in products like fries, cheese and even sauces and marinades achieving Clean status!
