Many fun activities await to celebrate the upcoming National Day with Punggol residents. Come join and let's celebrate it together!

From bouncy castles for kids and family-fun activities to NDP live screening, Punggol residents can look forward to celebrating Singapore's 59th National Day together with three days of exciting festivities.

More Details About The Events

For the 3 August, not only the day will be filled with a lot of fun activities but there will entertainment on offer as well. You can expect stage performances, movie screenings, fitness workouts, and fringe activities such as arts & craft workshops, bouncy castles, as well as arcade games for the whole family.

Young children and families can enjoy the Candy House Bouncy, Rainbow Bear Ballpit, as well as Flash Dash and Basketball arcade games. You can explore and develop your creativity skills by joining the various craft activities to make your own DIY merlion plushies, paper puppet dragons and Red Lion parachuters!

Later on, you can tune in to the heartwarming sing-along – ‘A Fun Night of Singing’ – with familiar and evergreen National Day songs performed by local busking group, Voltera. They will be performing crowd favourites such as Home, Di Tanjong Katong and more. Gather your family and friends and sing your hearts out!

On 9 August, public can take part in fun-filled carnival activities and live screening of the National Day Parade at Celebration Square from 5 PM. Look out for the State Flag Flypast which will be flown by two RSAF Chinook helicopters and escorted by two RSAF Apache helicopters via the Eastern Route which includes the Punggol district around 5.45 PM to 6.30 PM. Six F-16s will also conduct a flypast from around 6 PM to 6.30 PM.

Celebrations at the Heartlands

It’s not over yet because the festivities will continue the next day on 10 August 2024 with the Heartland Celebration at Punggol that is located at an open field beside the Punggol MRT to celebrate Singapore’s 59th birthday together. 

You can expect community group performances on stage, static displays of Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and Singapore Police Force (SPF) vehicles. 

There will also be fireworks displays, as well as carnival and family activities. NDP packs will also be given to those attending the celebrations, so grab it fast while stocks last!

Venues and Date

There will be two venues for this event. On 3 and 9 August the event will be held at One Punggol integrated community hub and the Heartland Celebration on 10 August will be at the open field beside Punggol MRT.
