Let's take a look at a slightly less mentioned but very family friendly event - the Car-Free NYE Celebration @ the Civic District. Beyond the fireworks, here's what you can expect when you drop by on the 31st of December!

Families for Life NYE Celebrations
Date: 31 Dec 2018
Time: 5pm - 11pm
Venue: Esplanade Park, Empress Lawn and Connaught Drive
Families for Life (FFL)’s NYE Celebrations includes bouncy castles within, Esplanade Park, 3R photos prints at instant photo booths and even free picnic mats!
The FFL Mobile Café will be parked along Connaught Drive handing out free snacks and drinks to the hungry LOs!
Countdown Movie Screening
Date: 31 Dec 2018
Time: 7.30pm - 12.30am
Venue: Empress Lawn
Surrounded by Museums, it the best location to catch back-to-back outdoor screenings of Night at The Museum and Night at the Museum 2! There will also be live band performances by local bands and singers from 5.30pm to 6.15pm, and from 11.30pm to 11.59pm, and a break to catch the fireworks and ending off at 12.30am.
The Revelry Market

Venue: Connaught Drive
Shop to your heart’s content at Connaught Drive, with the TGIF Craft Market featuring an eclectic mix of hand-made goods, ladies’ apparel, innovative toys for children.
Revellers can also hop on the Popcycle for a spin around Connaught Drive and Fullerton Road from 8.30pm to 11pm.
LOOP @ The Incubator

HPB Fitness Countdown Party 2019

Start your 2019 fitness New Year Resolutions (or end the 2018 ones) with the HPB Fitness Countdown Party! Start with some healthy and family-friendly activities including golf, archery, giant pong, and giant board games like Snakes and Ladders and Tic Tac Toe along St Andrew’s Road, as well as Bubble Soccer at Esplanade Park from 5-7pm.
Kick-start your New Year with the Countdown Dance Workout with Fight-Do, K-Kardio and Zumba, along St Andrews’ Road in front of the National Gallery Singapore. Pre-register here or walk-in from 8pm!
The first 2,000 participants to pre-register for the Countdown Dance Workout and sign in at the event from 8pm will receive an exclusive fun pack, while stocks last.
