The Deepavali Istana Open House (IOH) will be held on Monday, 20 October 2024, 8.30am to 6.00pm. The IOH will be open to all visitors!

The Istana will be open to public on 20 Oct 2024, in celebration of Deepavali!
Family Activities and Performances by Schools
Visitors can look forward to family-friendly activities including a scavenger hunt, balloon sculpting, and colouring activities for children. There will be multi-ethnic dance, music and vocal performances by Pasir Ris Primary School, Tampines Secondary School, St Stephen’s School, Methodist Girls’ School (Secondary), APSN Chaoyang School, Catholic High School and St Andrew’s Junior College.
Performances:
- 9.45 am – 10.15 am: Chinese Dance by Tampines Secondary School (Main Tent)
- 10.30 am – 11.00 am: Choir Performance by APSN Chaoyang with Catholic High School and St Andrew’s Junior College
- 11.15 am – 12.15 pm: Brass Band by St Stephen’s School
- 1.15 pm – 1.45 pm: Modern Dance by Pasir Ris Primary School
- 2.00 pm – 2.45 pm: String Ensemble by Methodist Girls’ School (Secondary)

Food Trucks and More
There will also be food and beverage stalls, food trucks, as well as merchandise booths with limited-edition Istana souvenirs and President’s Challenge souvenirs. All fees collected and proceeds from the merchandise booths will go towards the benefitting agencies supported by President’s Challenge.
Guided Tours
The Guided Istana Heritage Tours are conducted by volunteers from NParks. The tours are limited up to 20 persons per group and depart every hour from 9.00am to 4.00pm. All fees collected will go towards charities supported by the President’s Challenge.
Visitors can also view a selection of State Gifts presented over the years to Singapore’s leaders at the Villa.
Entrance Fee
Admission to the Istana grounds is free for Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents. All other visitors will have to pay a fee based on the details below.
