The Ultraman Card Game showcases special collectible cards featuring stunning artwork from Ultraman Tiga illustrator Hiroshi Maruyama and production designer Masayuki Goto, bringing beloved characters from the series to life.
Card rarities range from Common (C) and Uncommon (UC) to the highly coveted Triple Rare (RRR).
Gameplay
Dive into fast-paced, strategy-driven gameplay, completing thrilling head-to-head cosmic battles within 15 minutes. The gameplay is simple, players simply need to compare their heroes strength, using abilities and power-ups to boost their heroes.
The use of the game’s scene cards add a unique strategic element to the gameplay, enabling players to change the course of battle with tactical decision-making.
The first player to have 3 "standing" heroes wins the match. This combination of visuals and strategy provides players with a new way to immerse themselves in the world of Ultraman.
2 Starter Decks
Inspired by iconic moments from the Ultraman series, the new Starter Decks, Heroes of Hyperspace features elements from Ultraman Tiga, Dyna, Gaia: The Battle in Hyperspace, while The Bonds of Zero is based on the Ultraman Z series.
Each deck contains exclusive cards unavailable in future booster packs, giving players an early competitive edge while ensuring balanced gameplay. Additionally, unique connecting cards can be combined to create a complete illustration, making them a must-have for collectors.
Each starter deck comprises 50 cards that feature both character and scene cards, along with a playsheet to equip players for their journey in becoming the ultimate galactic hero.
Booster Packs
Launched Guardians of the Earth on 8 Nov 2024, the first booster pack for the Ultraman Card Game (UCG), expanding on the excitement from its debut Starter Deck.
Packed with 140 new cards (110 new cards and 30 parallel cards), including ultra-rare and special parallel editions, Guardians of the Earth is a gift-ready addition that brings the magic of the Ultraman universe into fans’ hands. This latest release enhances gameplay with collectible and visually captivating cards sure to delight Ultraman enthusiasts of all ages.
The cards are inspired by the Heisei Era, New Generation Series, and the latest Ultraman Arc.
In addition, the Vortex of Crimson and Azure booster pack, together with Extra Deck 01: Ultraman Rising, will launch in January 2025.
Pricing
Singapore fans can purchase the English-language starter decks for $10 from retail stores, toy stores, and trading card stores. Players can further expand their decks with Guardians of the Earth booster packs, launching on 8 November, available as single packs or 24-pack boxes.
