Here's what you can look forward to:
A Rainforest Adventure for All: Explore Diverse Trails & Thrilling Experiences
Rainforest Wild Asia spans 13 hectares, offering an unforgettable journey for adventurers of all levels. Explore a variety of trails, from leisurely strolls on accessible elevated walkways to rugged forest paths. Discover wildlife and rainforest wonders along the way. For thrill-seekers, enjoy rock climbing, freefall jumps, and caving expeditions while immersing yourself in the diverse wildlife of their natural rainforest habitat.
Dynamic Habitats at Rainforest Wild Asia
Rainforest Wild Asia introduces flexible habitats for the first time, featuring animals like red dholes and babirusas at different times of the day. These dynamic spaces encourage natural behaviours, providing visitors with educational experiences. Home to 29 iconic species, including the threatened François' langur and Philippine spotted deer, the park also boasts 7,000 Southeast Asian trees to enhance its recreated rainforest environment.
Explore Wildlife in 10 Immersive Zones: A Multi-Layered Rainforest Adventure
Across 10 different zones, guests will navigate a multi-layered rainforest adventure, where animal encounters turn into delightful surprises. By tuning in to nature’s subtle cues, visitors learn to seek out wildlife hidden among the trees and foliage.
Here's taking a closer look at the various zones at Rainforest Wild Asia:
Entrance Gorge
The Entrance Gorge offers visitors a unique transition into the park, guiding them from manicured spaces and into the rainforest. Designed to mimic the edge of a natural rainforest, the area includes emergent trees that allows visitors to feel as though they are right at a forest’s edge.
The Karsts
On the outskirts of Entrance Gorge lies The Karsts, an expansive, open-concept habitat home to the François' langurs. Visitors will have the exciting opportunity to climb the rock face and come eye-to-eye with these fascinating primates.
The Outpost
The Outpost is a rest point for explorers and visitors to take stock of the adventure that had already been revealed to them and get a glimpse of the discoveries that still lay ahead. This is the first ‘base camp’ where visitors can take a moment to relax, enjoy a refreshing drink and grab a bite, all while soaking in views of the surrounding forest.
Forest Floor
The Forest Floor will offer visitors the opportunity to experience the rich, nutrient-dense environment that sustains the entire rainforest. Here, visitors will have to duck below fallen trees or climb over logs lying across the path and as visitors slowly descend towards the forest floor, they spot the first signs of life – a sudden movement amongst the tall trees, a free-roaming mouse deer grazing nearby.
Rock Cascade
Onwards to Rock Cascade where guests will cross different types of vegetation and landscapes from tall grasses and bamboo groves to majestic trees. As the main elevated walkway ascends higher above the forest floor, visitors will encounter the Malayan tiger exhibit, where these apex predators wander through tunnels, traverse rocky formations and navigate cascading waterfalls to reach elevated vantage points. Cross a root bridge to venture deeper into the habitat and potentially be rewarded with a special view of the tiger on its rocky lookout. In this zone, guests are also introduced to one of the flex habitats that houses a rotating group of predator and prey species in adjacent yet carefully separated habitats.
The Canopy
The Canopy will give visitors a glimpse into life at the treetops. In the dense forest consisting of mature trees that highlight the rich canopy environment, visitors can look forward to chance encounters with free-ranging species such as the Javan langur, red-shanked douc langur and siamang. Be sure to look down to the forest floor and spot ground-dwelling wildlife like the Philippine spotted deer.
Sentinel Foodhall
Guests can take a respite at the Sentinel Foodhall, enjoying delicious food while taking in views of the Watering Hole and beyond. For the more adventurous, sign up for Canopy Jump – one of the adventure add-ons – located near the Foodhall for a chance to leap from the highest point of the park. This area will also have activities designed for younger expeditioners with play areas mimicking elements of the forest.
Watering Hole
Watering Hole is the largest zone in Rainforest Wild Asia and showcases the vital role water plays in shaping the ecosystem. As park goers enter this zone, be sure to look up and try to catch sight of the Malayan sun bear foraging amongst the trees. Meanwhile, the charming Malayan tapirs can be seen roaming the forest floor below.
The Cavern
The finale to the rainforest adventure is a 220-m Cavern modelled after realworld cave systems — namely the Mulu Caves in Sarawak, Malaysia.

- Critter Crawl
Gear up for an adventure in the dark and tight confines of a cave! Using only the dim light from a headlamp, the small group of participants will navigate a 60m cave tunnel with impressive stalactites, stalagmites rock formations and fossil imprints. Get up close to hissing cockroaches through a glass floor panel and be prepared to crouch, sidestep, and crawl to explore this underground world.
Next Up: Rainforest Wild Africa – A New Adventure Awaits!
