Want to Bring Your Kids Out to try something different? This weekend, let them try their hands on Longkang Fishing @ ORTO!
Longkang (which actually means drain in Malay) fishing was a popular past-time eons ago, whereby kids will take plastic containers and nets and head to the drains to catch small fishes.Â
Let your LOs enjoy this experience in a safer condition! The Longkang Fishing venue at ORTO is a tiny pond about 20 - 30cm deep and is not slippery too!Â
For $12, you will receive a net and a tank. Simply fill the tank with water, pass the net to the LO and watch them gleefully chase after the fishes!Â
Did I mention, it's $12 for unlimited hours! Tank, net, fishes all included!
A few words of caution: Adults are not allowed to fish (we were warned) and the fishes die quite quickly after we brought them home (we were down to just 5 after 2 weeks, from over 20).Â
