On Aug 1, the Istana will open its grounds to the public to mark Singapore’s 56th birthday. This is the first open house since Covid-19 hit and unlike previous open houses, the Aug 1 event will not have performances, tours, booths or food trucks to prevent large groups from gathering.
Only Ticket Holders of Cancelled Open House Invited
In order to manage the crowd size, the event will only be for ticket holders of the cancelled Open House on 13 May 2021. The Open House on 13 May 2021 was to be the first reopening to celebrate Labour Day and Hari Raya Puasa but was called off due to a spike in the Covid-19 cases in the community.
If you hold tickets from the event on 13 May, more details will be sent to you through your registered emails.
